I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. I will be available for interviews at the 2013 ASSA meeting in San Diego.

My research and teaching interests include Political Economy, Economic Development and International Economics. In particular, there are three lines of research in which I have focused my doctoral work: (i) economic structure and institutions, (ii) political economy of the media industry, and (iii) political institutions and fiscal policies. I do theory as well as applied work, including lab experiments.
